Who we are
Established in 2008, Waseela Foundation is a non-religious, non-political and non-partisan social welfare organization. It aims to trigger and lead transformative social change in Pakistan. In this, it targets its interventions onto carefully selected socio-economically deprived and traditionally underserved areas in the country.
We bring together a range of development experts and corporate sector professionals with diverse backgrounds, experiences and networks, to develop well-designed interventions targeted towards the masses. We create synergies between development practice and private-sector knowledge and experience for the benefit of society at large.

WHAT WE DO
We act as a platform that nurtures a range of welfare projects to help the members of the disadvantaged segments of society become more productive. To achieve this end, our chief focus remains improving the levels of health and education among the masses.
In addition, we collaborate with other charitable groups by offering them assistance in governance, management, operations and finance.
Finally, we are committed to playing a proactive role in eradicating social ills by creating awareness on key issues through communications-centered campaigning.
Waseela Eye Hospital
Waseela Eye Hospital started its operations in November, 2008, at Kamonke, about 50 kilometers from Lahore. Currently, Waseela Eye Hospital offers comprehensive eye healthcare services as well as OPD services. Most patients receive treatment at a subsidized cost. Many patients, however, are treated for free.
Innayat Farooq Waseela Eye Hospital
After ten years of successfully running a hospital, Waseela Foundation is, now, readying to take its next leap forward. In this, it is building its first-ever state-of-the-art, international-standard comprehensive eye healthcare hospital at the village of Minhais, near Sadhoke, Punjab.
